Required skills and abilities
- Experience with seawalls is highly preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory; Class A CDL is desired.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75+ pounds and climb heights
- Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
- Ability to take direction
- Produce quality work in an efficient manner
- Willingness to maintain and operate construction tools in a safe and proper manner
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Must be willing to work outside in the elements. Ability to swim.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions to resolve problems effectively.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 1-year experience and/or schooling in the construction industry
- Class A CDL preferred
