Required skills and abilities

  • Experience with seawalls is highly preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is mandatory; Class A CDL is desired.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75+ pounds and climb heights
  • Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
  • Ability to take direction
  • Produce quality work in an efficient manner
  • Willingness to maintain and operate construction tools in a safe and proper manner
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Must be willing to work outside in the elements. Ability to swim.
  • Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions to resolve problems effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum 1-year experience and/or schooling in the construction industry
  • Class A CDL preferred
